An electric mosquito racket is a handheld device designed to kill or stun mosquitoes and other small flying insects on contact using an electrical discharge. It looks somewhat like a tennis racket, but has a mesh/net of conductive wires that generate a high voltage when energized.
How It Works
1.The racket has a battery-powered high-voltage generator in the handle.
2.When you press and hold a trigger or button, the circuit is activated and a voltage (typically between a few hundred to a few thousand volts) is applied between two (or more) conductive meshes.
3.If a mosquito or insect flies into the mesh and bridges (touches) the gap between conductive wires, current flows through the insects body, causing a spark and lethal damage.
4.Many models include one or more protective outer meshes to prevent accidental contact with the high-voltage mesh by users.
